Illuminated cotton balls

Interactive installation with mechanical energy

Handmade spinner while, motor AC/DC, electronics, LEDS and balls.

Year: 2014

e-landero is a work that explores the relationship between spinning, twisting of threads and energy.

In this work, the use of a wooden spinner while – purchased at the July 16 fair in El Alto in La Paz – to generate electrical energy from mechanical energy, turning the spinner into a dynamo that produces direct current (DC). In this way it is possible to light a group of LEDs and visualize in other ways the energy phenomena inherent in textile processes.
